BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound) is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide (Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val), a fragment of a protein isolated from gastric juice.
TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein involved in reorganizing the cell cytoskeleton.
Both peptides are being studied in connection with tissue repair.
