Sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol for reconstituting lyophilized powders. 3 ml vials.
SKU BA-3
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water for injection with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added. Benzyl alcohol suppresses the growth of most bacteria, so the vial stopper can be punctured several times.
It is used to reconstitute lyophilized peptides. Unlike plain sterile water, an opened vial can be used for up to 28 days.
